Dr. Zalvan is the medical director of the Phelps Institute for Voice and Swallowing Disorders as well as Chief of Otolaryngology at Phelps Hopsital, Northwell Health in Sleepy Hollow New York. He is a board certified otolaryngologist and his focus is laryngology with extensive experience in the treatment of voice, swallowing, and cough disorders. His primary interests include research in the fields of laryngopharyngeal reflux disease, chronic cough, dysphagia, laryngeal cancer, and neurolaryngology. He has lectured extensively nationally and internationally and is a member of numerous professional voice and swallow societies.
