Institute of Health Innovations & Outcomes Research
Improved care delivery through epidemiology, statistics and laboratory trials
We are a multidisciplinary team of scientists focused on developing evidence-based interventions to improve health outcomes. Our research uses mixed methodologies and the latest data analytical tools to uncover ways to improve how we deliver care and tackle healthcare's most pressing issues.
We are examining how patients and providers manage chronic medical conditions, such as cancer, diabetes and heart failure, and identifying new approaches to lower cost, reduce disparities and improve quality of life. We’re changing the way physicians interact with patients and helping patients make personalized choices to improve their health and well-being.
Our strength lies in our ability to collaborate across disciplines using innovative approaches to generate scientific evidence. Our team consists of a broad range of clinical researchers and leverages the expertise of our behavioral psychologists, economists, informaticists and medical anthropologists.
We’re working together to develop multipronged interventions that engage patients and communities to achieve the greatest impact on healthcare today.
