At the Center for Comparative Physiology (CCP), part of the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research, we are committed to the highest level of animal care and quality service to facilitate our mission of producing knowledge to cure disease. Our program is accredited by the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International, demonstrating our excellence in animal care and use. We are also registered with the New York State Department of Health and the United States Department of Agriculture, and undergo annual inspections by these agencies.

We provide veterinary care, technical services, diagnostic services, and education and training of research personnel. Our staff includes a director, facility supervisors, a training specialist, licensed veterinary technicians and certified animal care technicians. An attending veterinarian, board-certified in laboratory animal medicine, oversees the animal care and use program.
